We'll guide you through the process of listing your item step-by-step, including helping you find the best category. Selecting the right category is important as it helps buyers find your listing. Before you sell on Upstatebids you must: Be a registered member and Become a seller. Before you list an item: Look for similar items that have recently sold on upstatebids to help you select the best category, price, or learn your item's potential value. The cost to sell on Upstatebids varies depending on the minimum bid you put in to start. It is a percentage of that amount. When you sell an item, you'll be able to review your fees on the listing form before you submit your listing. Your total cost will be a total of the Insertion Fee, and listing upgrade fees. There is no final payment like other auction sites, you pay once, when you list it. Here's how it works: Insertion Fee: When you list an item, you're charged an Insertion Fee for the listing. The Insertion Fee is based on the starting price and the category of your item. If you specified a reserve price, the Insertion Fee is based on the reserve price amount.
